Who are we? We are a community where boys and girls, men and women’s lives are guided by these critical words - Hard work, Joy, Knowledge and Respect. Over the years we have made a name for ourselves because of the excellent results we have produced in the classrooms. Yes we take pride in that - but we are much more than just academic results. I would like this place to be known as a place of fun and discovery. Children should have fun in lessons, in sports, in clubs, during playtime and during all the exciting cultural and entertainment programmes that we avail to them every year. It is my wish that Tynwald be a school where young boys and girls with diverse backgrounds, interests and talents discover who they are and who they want to become.
With a huge pupil population of 650 children, it is fundamental that we have a staff (teaching and non-teaching) that share the noble idea of making a difference in each child's life.The love for children and their success in all aspects of school life to me is the most important requirement for a job at this school. All other things come much later on.
